Welcome to The Still Life — we’re so glad you’re here. Our products are made with you in mind, and we want to share how we expect our relationship to work.

By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you’re agreeing to the spirit of the terms below — which are designed simply to keep things running smoothly for everyone.

1. About Our Products

Every candle, diffuser, and piece of art we create is made by hand, often in small batches. That means small variations in color, scent, or finish are part of what makes each item unique — a reflection of the piece-by-piece creation process.

2. Availability

Because we produce in small runs, some products may sell out quickly. If something you love isn’t available, we’ll let you know right away and share when it’s likely to return.

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. From time to time, prices may change, and we’ll be sure to let you know beforehand.

4. Our Artwork

We know you’re going to love the artwork that comes with your Still Life products — each print and image is created by our co-founder, Neil Plotkin or an artist he has worked with.
We ask that you please enjoy it for personal use only. If you’d like to reproduce, share, or feature it in any form, just let us know first — we’re always open to collaborations and would love to hear your ideas.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our goal is to make your experience beautiful and seamless. That said, we can’t be held responsible for issues beyond our control (like carrier delays or website hiccups). We’ll always do our best to make things right if something goes wrong.

6. Governing Law

These terms are guided by the laws of the State of New York — mostly because that’s where we pour, pack, and paint.
